Winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million sold at Naples supermarket (2024)

After months of rollovers, we finally have a billion-dollar Powerball winner − in California.

But that's not the only lottery winner from the Wednesday, Oct. 11, record-setting $1.73 billion draw: Two tickets from Florida matched five numbers to win $1 million each. They were purchased from Sunshine Supermarket, 50 Wilson Blvd. South, Suite 1, Naples, and Publix, 12500 W. Sunrise Blvd., Sunrise.

Outside of Florida and the grand prize winner from California, two tickets from Arizona and Pennsylvania each matched five numbers plus the Power Play to win a cool $2 million, and two tickets in California, one from New York, Oklahoma and Virginia each won $1 million.

That's a total of $11 million in second-tier prize money for nine tickets.
