🎉 Exciting news from Y&H and the City of Selma CA!We recently celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the groundbreaking of the Amberwood Sewer Infrastructure project. This significant development is a key part of our city's growth strategy, expanding our utility infrastructure to support the future outlined in the Amberwood Specific Plan. This phase involves installing around 2.5 miles of new sanitary sewer improvements, stretching from Golden State Boulevard to Floral Avenue along our southern border. Our team is working closely with Selma Kingsburg Fowler Sanitation District, Fresno County, and Union Pacific Railroad to ensure smooth execution, including a specialized jack and bore construction for a 72" steel carrier pipe under UPRR's right of way and Golden State Blvd. The Amberwood Specific Plan, approved in 2015, covers approximately 670 acres on Selma's eastern edge. It envisions 2,558 residential units and 131,200 square feet of commercial space. The construction phase of this vital project is estimated to cost $7 million.Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build a brighter future for Selma!

Yamabe & Horn was thrilled to sponsor and participate in the 18th Annual Golf Tournament, hosted by the ASCE Younger Member Forum and the Lyles College of Engineering (LCOE) Alumni. It was a fantastic day of networking, friendly competition, and supporting a great cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit LCOE student scholarships, the LCOE Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund, and various community outreach initiatives and professional development events. We'll be back again next year to try and claim those first place bragging rights! #ASCE #LylesCollegeOfEngineering

What a blast at the Fresno State University Baseball game! Yamabe & Horn brought together our incredible team and their families for a fun-filled day of sunshine, cheers, and cracker jacks. Although the Bulldogs didn't snag the win, it was a great day for a game. Cheers to many more outings like this in our future!
